The girls' soccer team started the season off with a big victory over Groveport with a score of 3-0. Alison Smiley lead the team with 2 goals, one of which was assisted by Jasmine Thongsavanh. Closing the game for the Jaguars, Callie Hribar's goal was assisted by Kayla McClung. KC Sandy also recorded her first shutout of the season in the goal. Both teams take on Weaver tomorrow at home, starting at 4:45 p.m. Please come and support your team!
The A girls' soccer advances to 2-0 after last nights 5-1 win over Weaver. Helping lead the Jaguar's to victory were goals by: Alison Smiley, Callie Hribar, Kayla McClung, and Autumn Plikerd. Lexii McCoy and Natalie Green held down the defense to solidify the big win. The B team fought a close battle, also taking on Weaver, but lost 1-0. Kennidee Steele played a solid game in the center midfield possessing the ball, and Heather Piatt had great movement in the attack. Awesome effort by all athletes!
